In this interactive analysis, beauty_dashboardย  I examined 50 consumer stories from Reddit to explore the psychology and economics behind beauty consumption. Using sentiment analysis and thematic insights, I uncovered a powerful pattern: consumers motivated by self-care reported positive outcomes, while purchases driven by insecurity often led to guilt, debt, and dissatisfaction.

The findings suggest that beauty products are frequently used as tools for emotional regulation rather than purely aesthetic enhancement.
